ROLLING RESISTANCE COMPARISON
See how MICHELIN® tires stack up versus the competition, and how they can improve your fuel costs.
Welcome to the rolling resistance
comparison tool.
REFERENCE BASE TREAD: You choose the reference tread. The reference tread will always serve as a baseline value of 100.
SELECT A TREAD: Up to four treads can be selected to compare with the reference tread. Each tread will be indexed against the reference base tread that has been chosen.
GREEN VALUES: When values are displayed in green text with an arrow pointing down, the tread has a lower rolling resistance than the base tread.
RED VALUES: When values are displayed in red text with an arrow pointing up, the tread has a higher rolling resistance than the base tread.
Please visit our Fuel and Mileage Calculator for a detailed simulation.

Rolling resistance data is determined using drum tests according to ISO 28580 procedures.
